Sturdy, painted steel construction, but with illogical bolt placement in my opinion. The bolt holes are on the bottom side of the frame requiring you to turn it over to install the bolts. It would be easier to assemble / disassemble if the holes were on top of the connectors and I may just modify it that way. It took a bit of jostling to fit all of the parts in the included bag which I hope is more durable than it appears. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase for the price paid, just wish the manufacturer had thought through the design more.

I have a 14 foot hammock and although this hammock stand indicated it was for 14 feet I can not stretch my hammock tight. I end up laying on the board.

Way too short for a normal hammock. It's a little wobbly, which is a bit of a shame. Giving it 2 stars because if I were able to find a shorter hammock, this would work.
