Bought this to do a few nut spurts on a job and only got 5 done and the riveter broke and I could not finish the job j was very disappointed in the quality and I could not even use a replacement gun for the size of insert that came with the kit with one that a friend had completely different would not recommend for anything bigger then 1/4” and that is pushing it

The unit arrived without the 8mm mandrill so the tool is useless to me

Had a lot of hope in this tool, the auto release function does not work and just gets stuck on the nutsert. Wish it had an option to manually back it off the insert.

Nut Rivet Tool Broke on second usage. I want a replacement of refund!

I got the two of the 5/16 rivnuts installed. About halfway through the 3rd one, both ball bearings left the chat. The aluminum housing that traps them is very soft, and the steel BB's created their own track to escape. Oh well, at least I still have a decent supply of rivnuts for awhile.

this tool is great for the 1st 20 rivet nuts that you put in. i have now broke 2 of them the same way. the ball barrings that spin the rod come out. would not buy the semi-auto retraction one.

Le transporteur devait m'envoyer un document à remplir et le lui renvoyer et je devait vous contacter pour signaler le problème afin d'être remboursé. Fell apart and got stuck in the vehicle that I was working on. Only lasted for 2 nutzerts and it broke. I was confident about it going into it, but that changed when it got stuck in a 2017 Journey rear hatch door because it wouldn’t threat out. I contacted them but after all the hoops I had to jump through, no replacement, no refund and they swept it under the rug. Started using local Harbor Freight again.
