When I ordered this sieve, I wasn’t expecting it to be as big as it is. The size really surprised me in a good way because it makes working with larger batches so much easier. It’s definitely more heavy-duty than I thought it would be. The metal feels thick and durable, not flimsy or cheap like some others I’ve tried in the past. The mesh is tight and even, and it handles fine materials without any problem. I’ve used it a few times already and it’s held up really well. Super easy to clean and feels like it’ll last a long time. I’d honestly give it a 4.5 out of 5 if that were possible because it’s almost perfect. Since that’s not an option I’ll rate it a 5 but to be fair I’d say it’s more like a strong 4 out of 5 overall. Still definitely worth buying and I’m happy with it.

Huge but a hard worker!

Bought this to go with my Vevor sifter. Good size for flour. Can use it by hand or in the sifter.

Works as advertised.

Ya this is super useful for me, I use it to filter potassium nitrate that I ball mill and 150 mesh is PERFECT for potassium/sugar l/parafin wax smoke devices. I'll throw 5 20mm chrome steel balls it it to help vibrate the powder through since I don't got one of those cool machines that I believe possibly vibrate or something the, normally flour I guess?, through. I left it out one night it was raining and not a spec of corrosion l, so, I believe it's food grade. Hehe. And the screen I can't detect any stretching bouncing 20mm steel balls around on it so, that's good. Seems sturdy enough.

I bought this to sift flour. It won't do it, the mesh is too fine. Not sure what to use it for now.

I ordered this with the intention of ordering the machine to go with it later on (which is now currently on the way) so I could manually sift my fresh ground flour. Mentally I was picturing this about the size of a colander but it was quite a bit larger than what I was expecting so I can only imagine how big the machine is. Thankfully I have a huge metal bowl so I didn’t make much of a mess trying to sift my flour but my hand size and height of the sifter was against me but I made it work for the time being. I think if you are a normal sized person with normal sized hands and you have the big bowl to sift manually it wouldn’t be an issue but if you’re small then expect some hand cramps from trying to hold it. I will leave another review once the machine arrives and it is being used the way it was intended
