The construction of the unit is very good, very solid, it retracts well, and I stalls well. The biggest concern is the hose, the material it is made of smells like petro-chemical death. I had planned on using this to water my vegetables, but even after 2 months the hose smells AWFUL. I really wish I could return or exchange it for the version with the white hose. This would be fine for washing cars, or running a pressure washer, but this version smells like cancer.

The body is very plastic like and not as durable as my Girraffe. The spring suck in when it likes, sometimes takes a few tugs to get it to react. The mount is also plastic. I really wanted the upgraded version but not sure how I ended up with this one.

The hose end broke the first time I used it. Had to cut the end off and replace it.Price is good and rolles up nicely

Overall it's ok, the retract mechanism doesn't pull the hose in very well when its brand new so I would imagine it will fail soon; I should look at the warranty period because its been in use a few months and only pulled out / retracted twice.

Didn't make the anniversary, I was pretty happy about the product. Bought it mid August last year, used for three months, put it away, bring out this May, I have to replace the spray nozzle and now the hose stucked inside the housing on the left side where the drive belt is. What a waste.

Leider nach 6 Monaten kaputt. Verliert Wasser am inneren Schlauchanschluss. Leider kommt man nicht dran ohne die Trommel zu öffnen und den Wickelmechanismus zu zerstören. Sehr schade, sonst eine gute Schlauchtrommel.

Spring unwound on the first use. Unable to reel the hose back in, even by hand. Very unsatisfied why a product that should be better than that. Support gives very nice advice such as: try unrolling completely and try again. As if we where totally clueless. SPRING IS BROKEN.

Bought two, first one broke within 3 days of use, stopped rewinding in and is now jammed out. Second one started leaking 2 weeks in. Now both are leaking profusely.
