I'm 5 ft 9in tall. In order to load and unload groceries in the cooler in the back of our truck I was climbing onto the bumper and balancing precariously. This step is the perfect height for access. The platform is wide enough for both feet. It puts the step closer to the tailgate where I need it because it has no added bumper. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs a boost.
