I had ordered the white 47”x20” folding table but needed to know what the coating was, Formica, laminate, painted. The company responded very quickly and stated it was coated with paper over particle board, never heard that before. The “paper” coating is semi-smooth and the particle board is 1” thick. The brackets are painted metal and appear to fold easily. The hardware to mount the brackets are for brick and NOT for SHEETROCK or wood studs. I had a handyman install the table and (since none are provided) he had to purchase large screws to mount the brackets into the studs at 32” and while installing the top with the VERY SMALL screws that were provided the bottom of the table cracked-maybe the paper coating came apart. Unfortunately, we now had 6 large holes where the brackets are mounted so we had no choice but to contact the seller. They responded very quickly and promptly shipped another and said to discard the damaged top, no need to return it. Overall, I gave it a very generous 4 star rating, but the product is really 2 stars and the customer support is 5 star. Also, do not attempt to install the strut that comes with the unit, there are no instructions or template on where/how to mount it, so save yourself the trouble of making additional holes in the wall and potentially cracking the bottom of the paper coated table. The top is light enough to fold it down.

As part of a bedroom makeover, I wanted to introduce a portable desktop. This folding desk fits perfectly between the window trim and baseboard under our bedroom window. It easily pops up to accommodate my work at home requirements and equally easily folds down at the end of the day. Installation was straight forward. It offers ample work space for a laptop, screen, keyboard and a file folder/notepad. It is sturdy and stable!

For the The wall hole drills, DO NOT follow intruction paper. Tge holes should be 3,5 cm closer to the center. So make your own dimension checks!! How to use The gas spring? I dont know.
