This lock fits like a a glove. What they don’t tell you in any video I watched that there is a reason to wrap the safety chains around the ball. It takes up any space that’s there and lock it in tight. I tried it without the chains and it was very limp on the hitch. I put the chains on and it fits snug. Looks like great quality the lock itself what they referred to as a puck is very finicky with the key, but I figured what time I’ll get it figured out.

I am very impressed with this hitch lock and currently using it on my enclosed trailer that holds my very expensive dive gear and tools. The quality is on par with most hitch locks that cover the hitch like this one. However I like this one better than my others because of the way the lock pushes in and the included silicone boot to cover it all. I store my trailer in my backyard, so while I am not concerned about anyone taking it (it would be very hard), there is always the off chance that while I am away, it would be taken. This hitch lock is a great deterrent to those who may feel it necessary to borrow my trailer against my will, and that is all I can really ask for with hitch locks. It functions as it should, fits great, is easy to put on and off, and looks good too. I do bring this with me while I travel incase I unhitch my trailer and have received a lot of compliments and onlookers as to what hitch lock I was using. It is priced appropriately and on par with other locks like this (I have other trailers that I have put similar hitch locks on as well). This lock offers a little piece of mind and deterrent for those seeking a free trailer and supplies. Definitely recommend it.

I really like this coupler lock. I own a 2022 Salem FSX 178BHSK. This lock does fit the coupler, but I could not get the safety chains to fit underneath it. I would have loved that so that someone couldn't just drag my trailer off by the safety chains, but at least the coupler is fully enclosed. I think this was a great value compared to some of the really expensive options out there, and seems a lot tougher than a lot of the really inexpensive options out there. It won't stop an experienced or determined thief especially one equipped with enough tools, but it's enough to give us peace of mind when we leave our campsite.It light enough that it's not a bother to take with us, small enough it can easily fit in a trailer storage compartment, and easy to install.
