Mounted a 3500 pound winch and it works great

I have a somewhat unique application as I move the 12,000 lbs winch between my car and a purpose built dolly for moving my dock onto the shore. This mounting plate was the only one that I found that was heavy duty enough and reasonably priced. The quality is excellent for the price.

This is one tough, well made winch mount. I am using it in an unconventional way. I have it anchored to a huge beam on my back porch. My house is on the water in Southwest, FL. The main house sits on huge concrete pilings 20+ feet above my downstairs and my dock. There are 20 steps up and down.....not easy on my aging knees and back. So....I cut a hole in my railing and built a gate. Mounted the winch mount to one of Vevor's 400 pound "mini winches" and attached a heavy duty basket. Now groceries, laundry, packages, tools, whatever......can be put in the basket and raised or lowered as desired. My first evolution of this system was four years ago. I welded a piece of two inch stock to the winch. That system needs repair after four years and three hurricanes of exposure to the salt air. The replacement, utilizes the winch plate instead of the welded 2 inch stock. Makes or a better fit under the soffit and makes it easier to get to the insides of the winch if repairs or maintenance is needed. I rarely start a project without checking with VEVOR. They have great equipment and tools at reasonable prices and with terrific customer service. I wish I still had my big shops I had at my farm before I retired. I would be buying a lot more of VEVOR's products.

This kit fit perfectly in my Ranger mid size utv. Very happy with vevor.

Mount works as it should. Good and strong. Will see how it all works when I get winch installed. Still waiting on it.

My JL with X package has bumper ready for winch with no plate. $400+ at other places. This fit perfect, took 20 min. Has better mounting points and more mounting points than the jeep or RC. 10k SCAR mounted with extra room. It even came with a fairlead backing plate and bolts.
