These work phenomenally well. I used them in my pond filter which uses a pool sand filter housing and they cleared it up nicely. They backwash easily and keep my water clear. I am going to use them in my pool next season!

Product is exactly as described. Easy to install into my filter and comes with a mesh bag so you can put the filter media in the washer for reuse.

We purchased these to replace the sand in our pool filter. We inherited a severely neglected above-ground pool that was completely filled with algae and debris. The sand in our filter was in desperate need of replacement. These have been amazing. They pick up so much and I love that they can be cleaned and replaced in the filter. I can't speak to their durability yet, but they are easy to install and fit beautifully in the filter. The only downside of these is their weight once wet. Taking them out to clean them can be rough because they become extremely heavy. The easiest way is to move the entire filter pump if it has an easy to carry handle to the washer. If you can't do that, you'll need a reliable container of some sort with handles that can handle their wet weight.

I bought these at the beginning of the summer to replace the old sand in our filter. They have been amazing and our water is crystal clear. They can be washed and reused! We bought a second set so we can always have them in the filter as the other set is washing. Good bang for your buck! Seems to hold up (we haven’t had to switch them out yet).
