Customer Reviews for VEVOR Retractable Hose Reel Water Hose Reel 35m x 1.3cm 180° Swivel Wall-Mounted

Great hose EXCEPT the 1/2" version I bought is too small. Water volume/pressure is not good. I would hope the 5/8" model would be better.

Stop retracting after a couple of months

nothing to brag about. the only thing metal is the bracket portion that attaches to the wall or Post. everything else is plastic. not much pressure when compared side by side to the old hose. OK but not worth the money

Bought this after seeing lots of very good reviews. Easy to install BUT BEWARE the instructions state use an 11.5mm masonry bit, I used an 11mm bit and it was perfect. Didn’t use the supplied plastic tap adapter because it was impossible to stop quite bad seepage so I used the brass one that had been on my tap for 20yrs, resulted in a perfect seal. I initially found the recoil function seemed to have a mind of its own as it didn’t always fully retract unless you remove the inspection cover and re route the hosepipe. However by trial and error I found that the recoil works much better if you turn off the water supply and release any hose pressure before recoiling the hosepipe. It’s okay for the price and looks very smart but only time will tell as to it’s overall quality and longevity.

I mostly love the features of the reel and have gotten many compliments from the neighbors. The 100 ft. 1/2 inch diameter hose is too constricting and reduces the pressure substantially. I regret not getting a larger diameter. It works... just at half the pressure which is evident when washing the car or running a sprinkler. This would be fine for water plants. I expect that I would have given 5 stars for the larger diameter version.

Leaks at the nozzle

Broke the casing came apart and VEVOR wants to offer $20 credit should replace it for free with the updated version

Sometimes i have trouble winding the hose complitely in the case and it stays out. I have to unreel it completely and reel it back to get it all in .
