Was looking for a replacement for the factory 1981 Rockwell Unisaw miter gauge which I was never crazy about. I checked out the HF Bauer miter gauge when I stumbled upon this item which is clearly higher quality at about the same cost. Right out of the box the Vevor was dead on balls accurate & square at the 90 degree setting. Regarding the other angle settings, as a professional I will check them as I go along, since there will always be slight adjustments for every project or situation. I have other miter gauges, a Harvey sliding table system and a Hondui (photos attached), so I have a fair idea of what to expect in terms of quality and durability. The Vevor is clean and well-thought out from an engineering perspective: -68 degrees to 0 to +68 degrees, minimal play in the preset holes & there is a way to recalibrate to a perfect 90 degrees by loosening four button screws, should the need arise. The vertical slots allow practically any add-on fence to fit (in my case, the "Enjoywood" brand), whereas I had to drill new holes in the old Rockwell miter gauge. The Vevlor sliding bar with the "no-tip" washer on the end perfectly fits the 3/4' wide by 3/8" deep slots of all of the tables I have: Rockwell Unisaw, Harvey Cast Iron router table & a Grizzly horizontal sander. It may or may not fit into the slots of the lightweight job site saws, depending on the manufacturer. You can also remove the small amout of free play by tweaking four set screws on the right edge of the bar, which advances a spring loaded ball on the opposite edge. I changed the two Vevor knobs to red Kipp levers, but that's a personal preference.
Sometimes you just need a simple, lightweight miter gauge that you can beat on & not worry about the cost. At this combination of quality and price, how can you go wrong? I would buy another, should the need arise!

Saw sled
Purchase two of these to use in developing a table saw sled jig for my table saw that doesn't require a bottom. I have only checked the accuracy for a cut requiring no angle and found that it was spot on without needing any adjustments. The sled will allow for angle cuts; however, I haven't checked the accuracy of the other settings so far.

Nice one, Vevor
overall, I like it. In a world of ridiculous high prices from soup to nuts, Vevor provides products that do the job and are made in an uncompromising level of quality, which is much to be admired. You can't find serious objections to this device, it's accurately made, and will perform well for anyone. Less than perfect is the method of locking in the slide to the slot. In my case, with a t-slot that has a "double" shelf on either side, the ball bearing doesn't really lock into the slot well. Far better design is an overhead cam-like adjuster that doesn't require you to lift off and adjust repeatedly to get to the best adjustment, and even then, it doesn't lock in the slot well. Apart from that the gauge is really well made, and can serve as the basis for a nice table saw "slider" for repeated crosscuts.
