Bought the yellow ones about 20 years ago from Northern, only having to replace the cables once. I rebuilt my old trailer and bought these these because naturally the old ones were rusted badly (though still working). These are exactly the same if not better, and will certainly out last my trailer, and at less than 1/4 the price.

Recently purchased new trailer for sxs, quality steel built trailer like I wanted. The trailer is 7x14 with a ramp, turns out ramp was heavier than expected. Looked at spring placement for ramp, nothing worked out. Googled this product and it was the answer that I was looking for. Easy to install and now I can put the ramp up and down with one hand, no straining using my back, BEST PRODUCT EVER!
