Customer Reviews for VEVOR 12'x16' Outdoor Retractable Pergola with Canopy, Aluminum Pergola with Retractable Canopy, Modern Pergola with Sun Shade Canopy for Patios, Gardens, Decks, Backyards (Beige)

Pergola looks clean and modern, and it works great to create shade. Not too hard to assemble but you will need at least two people for some parts. Feels rigid enough, didn't need to add any additional bracing.

I'll admit to being skeptical about the quality of the product at this price point but it really is a great deal on a good solid product. Yes, yuou'll have a couple of days work cut out for you if you do it yourself but i eill be worth it. You will need some extra help when first erecting it but other than getting some help from my wife at that stage, I was able to do the job myself even at my advanced age. Make sure to count all the parts before starting out because if you're shory a piece you could be several days with half a project waitiung for repolacement parts. I didn't have a problem but it pays to be careful. My only small concern is that the final covering section of the 'roof', which is situated on top at one end to act as sort of a protecting cover over the sliding panels when they're folded away may not last very long as it has no means to effectively drain off rain and will take a beating from Florida's summer Sun. When that goes I'll probably replace it with something more subtantial and permanent. If you're looking for a reasonably priced back porch sun cover that's not hartd for a DIY'r this is a safe bet.

Product great. Directions given were not for this product. Had to watch you tube to figure it out.

For the price it's hard to beat especially for my use of it. The metal is a little lighter than I was expecting but the overall stability is pretty good and i would buy another one ..instructions for assembly could be a little more clear in certain areas

Overall decent. Lightweight yet fairly sturdy. Easy to assemble. However the area that acts as the cover when the canopy is closed collects so much water that it pools and stretches the fabric. Almost impossible to drain after even a little bit of rain

The pergola is great so far, but go by the metric measurements. I trimmed the legs to fit our space assuming it was 8 feet (96”) like the picture said, but it’s only 7’6” (90”). Other than that, great product.

As cheaply as this thing is made, you would think they could afford to provide a complete kit. Mine was short one small roller/hanger for the canopy and customer service is giving me a runaround about replacing it.

I bought a pergola from vevor on April 28 and when the product came the quality and the specs were not as advertised. I tried to return it within legal date providing supporting documents and pictures. Vevor refused to take it back and make a refund. I put a legal complaint to bc consumer act and started a dispute with my bank through my credit card. Strongly suggest you not to take the risk with the vendor!!!

I do not know what the problem is with getting missing parts from vevor. Even though they gave me a partial refund for the missing parts, I would like to know why they could not go to the user manual and look up the parts s I did and send them. Are they too big of an operation to do that or what. I have ordered other items from vevor, with no problems. I just do not understand why this pergola was a problem.

Attractive, sturdy, arrived in good shape. Instructions are fairly good but some of the drawings are a little vague. Definitely a 2 person job to put together. Detatching the canopy for the winter will be a bit of a pain and will take 2 people, but doable.Overall, pleased.
