Overall, I liked the mag drill. There were a couple of things that I wish were different though. This drill spins way too fast for the larger bits that come with it, so having a variable speed adjuster would be useful. The core bits that come with the drill are OK, I did burn one up trying to drill through some stainless, but that was because it can't be slowed down. And the coolant tank could be mounted better. It's not very stable.

Bought this mag drill as it was cheaper than buying two rotaloc bits for my Hougen mag drill and I could get it quicker. That was until delivery was delayed by a week. The product works well but one major flaw is that the power to the drill stays on even when the magnet is of or if magnetism breaks from the part you are drilling. This is a good way to have a wreck. Treat it as you should any piece of rotating equipment and you will be fine.

It works well, nice kit comes with it, and it is a great price. I haven't used it enough to say how it will hold up, but so far, I am quite pleased.

Great price for what it is. I would recommend getting unit with variable speed but otherwise good unit. We are a semi truck shop and made upfitting and frame drilling alot easier and safer. Safes alot of time in labor

Used to drill holes in I beams when building a house. Wish I would’ve bought one sooner! Great price compared to other models. Doesn’t have a tonne of features, but it can sure drill holes! Make sure to use lots of cutting oil to keep the bit cool. Snapped a couple as we didn’t have enough oil. Would buy again!
