I will be fitting your hand rail iinto old/strong flags. Due I drill right through the flags or stop short. The flags are 2" thick. How long and what diameter are the fixing bolts. Henry.

I will be fitting these to wooden sleepers so is it advisable to use ordinary screws instead of fittings supplied.
