Promotes Healthy Tree Growth: Each tree watering bag holds up to 20 gallons (75.7L) of water, which typically takes 5-9 hours to gradually empty. This slow-release watering system ensures water reaches deep into the soil, directly nourishing roots. Ideal for newly transplanted trees or during hot summer months, it helps your trees stay hydrated and thrive.
Durable and Reliable Quality: Crafted from heavy-duty, weather-resistant PVC material, these tree watering bags are built to last. They are tear-resistant and designed to withstand damage from tree branches or scratches. With reinforced nylon zippers and sturdy handles, they can easily support the weight of the bag when fully filled.
Versatile Compatibility: This set includes 8 tree irrigation bags, each suitable for trees with a trunk diameter of 1-4 in (25.4-101.6mm) and a minimum height of 25 in (635mm). For larger trees, simply connect two bags together to accommodate trunk diameters between 2-8 in (50.8-203.2mm).
Water-Efficient: Designed for slow water release, these watering bags for new trees ensure minimal water usage while providing long-lasting hydration for your trees. The system reduces the need for frequent manual watering, saving water, time, effort, and money by minimizing waste.
Simple to Use and Install: To set up, simply wrap the slow release watering bag around the tree trunk, zip the sides together, and fill it with water. The gator bags for watering trees features a 3.54-in (90mm) wide fill hole, compatible with standard hoses up to 2 in (50.8mm) in diameter, allowing for quick filling in just 2-5 minutes.
They were easy to setup and seem to make the young trees happier Was hoping they would hold water for longer but seem to be empty out in a day Seems the drain time to be normal based on research

I use these arounn newly planted apple trees. The trees are small and the summer heat in the Northeast have been brutal. I don't have to worry about watering the trees. I fill them once a week and don't have to worry they'll dry out. The functionality is great; it takes a while for the water to seep into the ground and the plastic zipper is easy to put on and take off.

I highly recommend you purchase one of these during the hot summer. We planted an Oak tree a bit far from our house and we fill the bag twice a week. The bag holds in the water and slowly feeds the tree.

These work well to keep new trees watered in the heat of summer. Water leaks out over about an hour. Seem to be strong enough.

I got these for two cherry trees we planted this spring. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use them because my trees are much too small, and do not have enough trunk below the branches for these to fit.

Easy to use and definitely a plus while we're in a drought -- heavy duty vinyl, easy to fill. Definitely a good price for the product.

I recently tried these tree watering bags for the first time, and I have to say, I’m impressed with the quality! Initially, I wasn’t sure what to expect when they were full, but they turned out to be quite heavy and large. Because of this, I would recommend them for trees with established roots rather than newly planted, weaker trees. One thing I noticed is that they empty rather quickly, with the majority of the water gone in no time. However, they do provide a decent amount of moisture that keeps the surrounding area wet for a couple of days. I also used them on a potted tree rather than one planted in the ground, which may have influenced their effectiveness. Overall, these tree watering bags are a solid choice for ensuring your trees get the hydration they need, especially if they have established roots. Just be prepared for their size and weight when full!

I should have known better, but I got these thinking they would be perfect for my brand new trees I brought home from the nursery to help keep happy... I have 2 trees that these bags kind of work for, but most of them are babies that are less than an inch in diameter and I don't think these would work very well for (maybe next year!) These are easy enough to fill with a garden hose, but it takes a few minutes to get done. They drain more quickly than the 9 hours, but they don't instantly empty and flood the area. These are tall enough that I haven't needed to put a protector on the bottom for protection from rabbits, so that's convenient. Still need my deer cages though, they aren't spooked by all of weird bags on the bottom...

We planted three apple tree saplings last year that are growing nicely. Because our summers are becoming hotter and dryer, we water them constantly. When I saw this product, I figured it was the perfect solution, and to a certain extent it is with a fairly major caveat. The bags are rugged and hold up fine when full of water, which is fairly simple to add with a common garden hose. The issue is that they drain too quickly--they have not lasted a minimum of five hours, and definitely not nine hours. So I have to refill them more than I would like. Other than that they do cut down somewhat on the need for constant watering, but not as much as I'd like.

We are doing some landscaping that includes putting in a couple trees and I have to say I am looking forward to these tree water bags. We have already tried them out and the rate of drip is perfect for a newly planted tree. They were easy to fill with a garden hose and the 20 gallon is just the right size for our needs. They stand up on their own so you don't have to worry about them leaning on the newly planted tree for support, they appear to be sturdy and well made and will do the job we need them to do. I can't speak to their longevity since we only just received them but overall I am very pleased with them.
