This basket replaced a saddle-bag set up that didn't allow us to carry much on our e-bikes. The open top is great--I can just toss my backpack and water bottle inside) and it secures well to bike. We use a bungee to keep things from bouncing out.

We bought this Vevor bike basket for a new bike that we were gifting to a person whose only means of getting around in town was via a bicycle.
