After having worked out using a rickety wooden ballet barre for many years, I thought it was time to upgrade. This barre did not disappoint. It was very easy to put together without having to use tools. It feels very stable and high quality. The light weight makes it very easy to move around and switch sides during online ballet classes. 10/10 recommended for anyone practicing at home.

Easy installation. Needs to be tightened very well to keep it stable. The weight is very light, which makes it easy to move around (the main reason I chose this product, since I have to move it within my apartment due to limited space). However, because it’s so light, it can’t bear much weight. I usually place weights (5lb per side at least) around each leg to keep it secure. For me, it’s a good fit for home ballet practice and warm‑up purposes, but I wouldn’t choose it for barre workout training. Perfect height for someone who is 5'3" & easily adjustable. Since the height has to be adjusted from both sides, it would be much better if there were lines marking the height. Sometimes, when adjusting it, it’s hard to tell whether both sides are staying parallel.

At 74, I'm way past the age for learning ballet, but I needed something to hold onto while doing stretches and balance exercises. I also put it over my walking pad just for assurance. It's easy to put together and light enough to move around. I'm thinking of adding a cup holder.

The ballet bar is sturdy, and the two crossbars are a practical design, sufficient for practicing dance at home.
