I am very impressed with this little top handle saw. I’ve not done any tree work for quiet a few years and had got rid of my gear, when a neighbour approached me with concerns about a tree on his little front garden. Unfortunately the idiot landscapers planted a Large leaf Lime some 30 years ago and now it has grown to 57 feet tall ( max possible height of 100 foot ) with multiple leaders and roots which were damaging his next door neighbours drive. So I decided to help hence the purchase of the saw and vevor manual pole pruner/saw. Both tools performed extremely well and the tree was down in 2 days. What I really like was the ability to vary the dispense of the chain oil on the saw, set it about half way for removing the canopy branches upto 3” thick then set to full flow for the trunks which were roped down in 18 inch lengths so a lot of sawing by this little machine which it did faultlessly. Still find it hard to believe how good the saw performed. Might treat myself to the larger chainsaw as that’s a very good price too.

Bought a few weeks ago. Initial start took quite a few pulls, as it seems to if it's stood idle for a week or 2.... but to be fair that might be as its not fully run in yet plus I might not have fully sussed the best start technique (I think choke out, 2 or 3 pulls with ignition off to prime, then ignition on & pull till fires briefly, then choke in and pull to start - don't "snatch" on the pull cord, take up the slack and a steady even pull). Once running it's pretty loud (I wear the supplied in-ear plugs which are pretty good, with ear defenders on top) - it's a chainsaw, never going to be quiet! I've run it gently so far cutting Firewood up to bed it in, & I think it's running better after 3 tanks of fuel. (I wasn't quite sure how to suss out the mix ratio with the supplied mixing bottle, but one bought locally for under 4 Quid sorted that). I've adjusted the chain once, and it looks like I need to tweak it again after using it cutting the rotten end off an old oak roof truss yesterday. So far & especially given the price for a pretty large 58cc, 20" bar chainsaw I'm very happy with it. The task I bought it for (cutting down a smallish Ash tree with Dieback on the boundary hedge I'm yet to tackle - but everything so far indicates that the saw is well up to the job.

Absolutely brilliant fast precise and sturdy machine, very easy to handle. But not for the amateur. The chain is extremely sharp so take care BECAUSE "It will cut"
