This fabric is SO much better than what we've been using from big box stores. Thick material, doesn't blow once bricks are down, weeds do not grow underneath like thinner fabric. WAY cheaper, and will last longer. Been a full season now, and still in 100% shape for next year.

I was initially concerned after completing the installation and testing the permeability—water beaded up on the surface when poured from a bottle. I tried again with the remaining material, but the water still sat on top of the fabric. After doing some research, I learned from an AI tool that this is likely due to surface tension, and that the fabric becomes permeable once the surface is pre-wetted or covered with mulch. That advice proved accurate. Overall, the product performs well, and the price is significantly better than what I found at local stores.

Warren Great fabric for under gravel

I have made several walkways with this fabric under the gravel. It works great and your gravel does not sink in the mud, but the water still goes through. My wife is very impressed with the way it is holding up. She’s wanting to order wider fabric for a parking area behind the pole barn. I’m sure it will happen soon.
