I worried covering ground would suffocate plant roots at first, but rain and air still pass through freely. My fruit bushes look healthier since less nutrients get stolen by wild weeds competing for soil.

It does what it's supposed to do. It keeps the weeds out of my garden. I had bad experience with thistles and I'm going to run this probably one more year and then it should be weed free in the garden

Less water evaporates straight off bare dirt now, I only need to water my flower patches half as often as before laying the barrier.

I've wasted money on big box store weed barrier in the past and the weeds grew through them like it was swiss cheese. Vevor weed barrier fabric is the real deal. It is impossible for weeds to grow through but it allows watering in, perfect! Here is a great way to cut holes out in the woven weed barrier for planting that I found on Youtube. I bought a Torch Blue lighter that burns out the size planting hole that I need and at the same time seals the edge of the weed barrier fiber from unraveling.
