Don't expect to much
No
It works but don't expect a huge difference. It is all relevant to what you are use to. In my case I have a 50 in Toro timecuter and mow 3 plus acres. Some of it is pretty rough due to the rocky nature of the ground. I had been using a 3 in gell car seat pad on the stock seat andToro has 4 in springs saporting the back side of the seat. I slowed down for the rough areas because of the bumpy ride. After install which was not a walk in the park I had to isolate the rear seat springs because the worked against the new set up. After trying a few runs over the bad areas and adjusting tension I found that yes it does work but not that if any better than what I had before. I'm disappointed and now think I should have spent more and got the type with the gas shocks instead of springs but I spent so much time installing this im Done. The problem with this set up there just isn't enough travel before it bottoms out when set a soft adjustment. You can get more travel when set to a firmer ride but then you bounce more. In all it works but don't expect to much. I hope this helps. I would not buy this again but would look into the gas type of set up.

Easy to install.
No
Helps smooth ride but seat bounce bottoms out on hard bumps so you have to adjust spring tension to almost maximum which in turn make ride stiffer but still a improvement over none at all.

Just ok
Yes
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Does not fit a cub cadet ZT1 well in that it doesn’t allow the slide functio due to seat angles, hardware is wrong thread for seat. Should have spent less on non sliding version.

NO MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Yes
For the $100 price tag. This item works great and is heavy duty. If not for that, I would give it a 1 star for the absence of direction. I purchased the adjustable one so CANT speak for the standard one. This thing is an absolute bear to install. As stated in other reviews, NO INSTRUCTIONS TO install. Who is the genius that encloses an instruction booklet with NO instructions on mounting. First you CANT get at the bolts with the seat on the rails. You have to take them off. That’s where the fun begins as the mounting holes are slotted, allowing for horizontal movement. After fighting for over an hour and half, I found that you have to mount seat with the right (adjustable) slide first and tighten the bolts, then slide the other rail on (as you can access these bolts with seat on by moving forward and back. Kind of a puzzle, but maybe I’m the problem being old. Hope this helps a little.

Not an easy retrofit on Craftsman
Yes
I enjoy the extra comfort this allows me. That being said it was a challenge getting it to fit on a Craftsman YTS4000. I was a truck mechanic for 25 years so I have plenty of experience and it still took me quite a while to get this installed. You will need to do some hole drilling and MacGyvering . If I had to do it again I could cut it to a 1/4 of the time. And I would do it again. The difference is very noticeable and the price is the best I found.

Relief is golden
Yes
Good product! Was able to adapt the suspension seat to my Troy-built Z54 and works well. However, the seat sensor had to be over ridden, not a fan of that but the comfort on my 1.5 acre Lake lot is Golden!

Good product for the price
Yes
I mounted this on my Shriners go cart to give me some relieve when in parades. It wasn't terrible to mount, but in my application, I had to do some fabrication to the cart. The product seems solid.

It works , for a cheap cushion
Yes
Had to drill a few holes for it to fit a John Deere Z9 series . It definitely helps , but only about an inch of travel . so needs to be set (tightened) perfect for optimal performance.
