Heavy, very well built and came with extra parts not that there is anything that would break.Works great I would recommend getting the 12 inch though.

Shipped well and rapidly to my door and just in time for my lesson. I re-seasoned it just for peace of mind and for the experience with a little flaxseed oil @ 450oF and it turned out beautifully, putting it together was a snap. I use 2 pieces of waxed paper to keep the dough from sticking to the press and make sure my iron is hot. 40-40-45 seconds is my rule of thumb for turning tortillas and remember to press firmly around to get that rise. I'm now head tortilla maker in our house, and mighty proud to say it! Thanks Vevor!

This tortilla press is HEAVY DUTY. The cast iron feels legit and presses tortillas evenly without flexing or wobbling. I’ve used it for flour tortillas, corn tortillas, and even gorditas, and everything comes out consistent. The 8-inch size is perfect for homemade tacos and street-style tortillas. After seasoning it properly, it works beautifully. Definitely one of those tools that feels like it’ll last forever. Excellent quality for the money.
