I was surprised to find a manual core aerator. I thought the only way to core aerate was to rent a big machine. This thing does the job. Note that it is a bit of a workout to push it. Also, you WILL need to fill it up with sand to increase the weight of the machine. The more sand you add the deeper the aeration, but the harder you will need to push.

Filled it with sand heavy as hell. I have a small hill and I am dripping in sweat . Use tomorrow's cardio today ...

Great tool for what I wanted.

Works well looks like it’s been beefed up a bit from the previous ones that were failing. The only change I’ll make is softer hand grips. The plastic type they use isn’t that comfortable. It moves well. I added 60 pounds of sand total. It’s not to heavy and works well in clay after I watered.

This is a very good aerator. You do need to fill it with sand or stones. Sharp turns can bend the tines. Good work out. Pros are price and easy to store and maintain. No motor to worry about. Cons are the tines can bend and it arrived missing parts ( which were replaced in 10 days, so all good)

Received it in three days, tried it on the lawn and was impressed. Definitely need to put sand in for it to be heavy enough to work, but I am very happy with my purchase

Aerator work great does what it's suppose to do. But trying to pour sand into a quarter size hole to provide weight was a pain in the behind. Need to find a better solution. I would not recommend it due to that manufacturing error.

It's not ok and overpriced

This was no where heavy enough to aerate even when it was full of sand. It pretty much skipped over the ground. Also the sand leaked.

Own it for 4 months and used it 3 times. Handle snapped off from drum. Not rust resistant. Now trying to figure out warranty.
