I have used geotextile for ditches and planted areas for years. This VEVOR product is less expensive and comes in more manageable sizes for projects. I purchased the 8oz version for toughness and longevity. Time will tell how the longevity works out. Compared to the 8oz material I have purchased from a landscape and drainage supply house locally, the VEVOR 8oz does not seem as dense. However, the cost is much more attractive! Buying in more usable widths means I have less cutting. My current needs are less challenging and so my risk is minimal. The cost and convenient sizing tipped the scale. Time will tell the difference if any. Go for it!
