For all the more ice we get in Ohio i couldnt justify spending more. Only got to drill about a dozen holes with it this year but worked great with my 20volt Dewalt. Zipped through 6" of ice like nothing.

This drill paired with my 20v hammer drill cuts thru the ice like a hot knife thru butter!! Can’t be beat for the price. Lightweight and comes with an extension.

For years i was old school using my hand auger and struggled with my shoulders as i get older watching all the new guys using power drills made me jealous but after this year with great ice we havent seen in a few years i found this Vevor 6in auger and bought it..man what a game changerr..works so effortless even with my cheap old 3ah makita dril..great auger

I took the ice drill auger out today and must say very pleased. I took with me 2 drills to try. One 20v Porter Cable the other a DeWalt XR 20v. Both drills powered thru 12" ice. But the DeWalt XR is definitely the way to go. I bought the 6" auger for searching fish location. This auger is as good as any at a much less price (Cuts with ease). If your thinking 8" model buy it as it will drill with ease. For the money its the best. I'd recommend the DeWalt XR 20v or Milwaukee Fuel 20v drill for driving the auger. Good luck fishing. Works great can't beat it for the price.

Bought this for my standard dewalt drill (no side handle or anything). I have an ass kicking 9 AH battery for it and have drilled about 50 holes in 8” ice. It’s fast, convenient and makes me want to ice fish more.

This thing is perfect! Light weight, sharp blades, comes w an extension and cover. As good as anything on the market for WAY less. There is no reason to buy anything else. I would highly recommend to anyone. Attach it to a good drill and you are good to go!
