Customer Reviews for VEVOR Hardware Cloth, 1/2 inch 48in x 50 ft 19 Gauge, Hot Dipped Galvanized Wire Mesh Roll, Chicken Wire Fencing, Wire Mesh for Rabbit Cages, Garden, Small Rodents

I purchased a few rolls of the galvanized wire to enclose a framed chicken coop / condo (8ft by 15ft). Using the correct staples, the wire mesh holds up strong to any animal (coyotes) that tries to enter.

Good quality and great price

The price is good, however for quality need to wait and see how it performs over time. I got the whole mesh covered with the zinc salt after just two rainy days, and I am not sure if this is going to last for long. I know that means zinc is protecting the steel against rust, but then it may mean that all zinc may get salted and washed out soon leaving steel unprotected. Given very thin thickness of mesh, rust may mean easy tearing. Need to wait and see. That's going to be a hudge job to replace the mesh if this happens!

Great wire at a great price. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because some of the wire strands wasn't welded straight and perpendicular to the opposite strand. Although it was only for short sections.

Used for my chicken coop. Holding up great just a bit thin but other than that all good.

I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I have used it on my coop yet, but I have used some of it on the brooder. It was easy to cut, bendable but study and the perfect size to keep small rodents and snakes out (I think!).

Good product, it is what they say it is. Would definitely buy again. I use it to protect my fruit trees and garden bed from rabbits.

Orders September 6/26 got shipped from BC, coming to Grayson....had a UPS tracking number. Tracked and seen where package was....and seen Saskatoon....was sitting there for 2 weeks. Now almost a month in transit. Showed delivered to Grayson, at this point i no longer had a tracking number to find my package. I made calls to track down, was given to trucking co. (Jays), in Saskatoon....they confirmed and put in Transit to Regina....found out they only service my town once a week, and it was a holiday, BUT.. they gave me a new tracking number of theirs.... So waited another week....the following week it again was left behind. Then shocking call on Thursday, that they brought my package out, that I didn't expect....but gladly accepted instead of waiting another week..... Delivered today.....October 8th/2026. Came from 2 provinces over. Unreal.....

Wire is thinner than expected. I bought this for an enclosure around a rabbit grow out pen. I paid more than anywhere else because I thought it would be heavy duty. Don't know if I can use it or not. I fear rabbits will be able to chew through over time. My budget is blown. Don't know what I should do.
