I have tyet o use the furnace but I am sure it will be fit for purpose, once the insulation is sealed (see below),as I looked at all the reviews on YouTube before purchasing. My only gripe is, and I appreciate they are built to.a price, that it does not come with a spray to seal the ceramic insulation or a bag of appropriate size and heat rating to seal the insulation with fire cement. The insulation left unsealed is a health hazard and is also liable to damage during placement and removal of the crucible; Hence the reason I have to use it as finding a product of suitable rating and in a suitable size and not costing as much as the furnace did not prove easy, I am now awaiting delivery of fire cement to coat the insulation before use. Also the tongs supplied are not suitable for safely lifting the crucible and will either need adapting or replacing.

Matériel satisfaisant, malgré que le ciment réfractaire à appliquer à l’intérieur ne soit pas livré avec le produit (mais vevor m’a fait un remboursement de 30€ et je les en remercie) et un tuyau de gaz périmé en 2024 alors que je l’ai acheté en 2025 mais je ne m’en suis aperçu qu’au bout d’1 mois alors je n’ai pas fait suite.

Im Preis und in der Bedienung unschlagbar. Qualität besser als der Preis erwarten lässt, nur der Stein ist sofort zerstört gewesen und die Zange ist für die Tiegelgröße eher gefährlich. Ansonsten war und ist alles super. Das Gerät tut seinen Job mehr als gut.

alles gut. der preis ist unschlagbar, an die 11 kg flkasche angeschlossen und losgearbeitet.. ich würde mir eine besser geformte zange und einen tiegel mit wulst wünschen, aber man kann nicht alles haben.

It worked well for forge welding some steel and was easy to set up and use. I never tried the crucible but used a steel pipe instead. The valves did start leaking after the first use and if you shut them off before you shut off the tank valve they will catch fire and sometimes randomly catch fire while using. Other than the valves it seems to work very well.

This furnace will provide you with a steady, rugged and reliable melting process. The shiny VEVOR label looks sharp and professional. The body is constructed of heavy guage Stainless steel. The refractory will need to be treated prior to initial use, but the process of doing so is very quick and easy to do. The only problem is the handle. Get a substitute wood handle ready, as the one from the factory will only last approximately 12 to 15 melts and becomes brittle and detaches. The competitors use a small hinge on the top lid, but having the lid removable is easy to get used to and is very functional, so i don't count it as an issue. Overall, this is a great product and big enough for mostly all base metal casting operations!

Good quality product for a diyer or home owner. Well made and reasonably priced. Has not failed me yet.
