We purchased this VEVOR Commercial Tomato Slicer for use in our restaurant, and it has been a fantastic addition to our food preparation equipment. When you're preparing tomatoes regularly for burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items, having a reliable slicer makes a huge difference. This unit makes quick work of slicing tomatoes into consistent, even slices, saving considerable prep time compared to cutting everything by hand. The heavy-duty stainless steel construction feels solid and well-built, and the non-slip feet help keep the slicer stable during use. The different cutting thickness options are a nice bonus, giving you flexibility depending on what you're preparing. One of the biggest advantages is the consistency. Uniform slices not only look better when serving customers but also help with portion control and reducing waste, which is important in any restaurant operation. It is harder to use for some of the bigger beefsteak tomatoes but once you get them in the holder, it works great! Cleaning is relatively straightforward, although care is needed around the sharp blades. Overall, this is an excellent piece of equipment for the price. It's sturdy, efficient, and makes daily food preparation faster and easier. A great investment for any restaurant, concession, or commercial kitchen. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

Excellent outil, efficacité au top pour couper les tomates avec une grande rapidité. J'ai essayé avec de la mozza, du chèvre, mais cela ne fonctionne pas, les fromages accrochent. Lame très tranchantes, attention aux doigts.

A decent product for the money. It functions as described. Changing blades is a little tricky, but we wouldn’t do that very often in this application. A good labor saver for people that don’t know how to use a knife.

Okay, I did not shop to much so not the products fault so I did not deduct any stars. However, Vevor has a verticle unit where you pull down on the handle instead of pulling it sideways, and I believe it has multiple slicer plates which would be nice. No doubt about it this slicer save time, a LOT of time. We freeze dry jalapenos, pears, and process onions, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers from the garden. This machine when you need it is well worth the money. I just wish I had the verticle model with multiple plates that would give us some choices on slice size. If you are going to buy, go ahead and spend a bit more and you can thank me if you ever use the sideways version, LOL.

I love tomatoes, and when sliced perfect, I am happy!
