Vevor has corrected the loose tolerances commonly afflicting Chinese made ball vises. It turns smooth as mayonnaise, flawlessly. No wobble.ock hold vise in any desired position. Fit and finish is top shelf. Don't spend $800+ on the so called "brand name" vise. This one works fine. It also looks lovely.

worth the price, if you are a hobbyist, it is worth the savings compared to others in my opinion. I can't compare to more expensive units but i am happy with what I have purchased from Vevor. The item was shipped fast and showed up in good condition. It works well without having to do any cleaning or modifications and saved me several hundred dollars. I Don't make jewelry so I can't tell you if it's worth the saving for the professional jeweler. I hope this helps.

This 5” ball vise is pretty nice for the money . Jaws close tight and even . Ball spins smoothly . Rotational lock screw has good spring and lock pin . Smaller accessorie pins have slight movement , maybe 1mm . I tested all clamping features , and all hold satisfactory. Seems they have corrected previous issues. Good to see Vevor is listening to their customers . This vise should serve me well into the future . I am happy with this purchase .

No need to spend money on the known name brand. This engraving ball will last for many years and at the price it cannot be beat.
