The design of the rack is well thought out such as the aluminum extrusion accommodating multiple assembly procedures with relative ease. The clamp-on mounting is a great feature as it simplifies removal of the racks if required.
the rear rack is too high and should be lower by about 15 cm to make it easier to load long items.

Ridgeline Owner
Overall, this is a very good product - especially for the price. If you happen to have a Honda Ridgeline, the clamps supplied won't fit your bed rails, so you will have to find a different way to mount it. I installed some strut channels on the sides of my truck bed (easy, due to existing mouting bolts) to which I bolted some angle brackets which the rack base bolts onto quite securely. Another slight problem is that racks whistle fairly loudly at highway speed, but it's only really noticeable with your windows or the sunroof open. The whistling is caused by the shape of the rack bar, but there's a product available which breaks up the wind flowing over them and supposedly makes them much quieter.

I am not not the most handy of men but I was able to install this rack easily. It does leave a threaded end upright and exposed. I am going to use a glue gun to cover it. If it came with covers for that, I would give a perfect score.

Mr
The product is worth the money. Your customer service has got to be the worst I've ever had to deal with, because of that I would rather go somewhere else, pay a few dollars more and not have to deal with you again.

Can’t complain for the price
Overall quality of rack and J Bolts is pretty good. My only complaint is the set screws that are used to hold the rack together. They are already rusting after 2 weeks and there is no way to face them toward the cab with the pieces given. Even if I could put them on the other side to hide them I’d be okay with that. I’m gonna have to go get some that won’t rust.

Ladder rack
Great price for a ladder rack. Easy installation. Handles light and heavy loads. Great addition to my truck.

Meets my needs as a canoe and lumber hauler.
Very solid unit when assembled. I added a 3/16” hard rubber pad under each of their mounting pads and added a separate set of clamps a slight distance away from their J-bolts. Held a 17 ft, 70 lb canoe nicely at 70 mph highway speeds. The mounting bolts and set screws started rusting after a week so I sprayed each with WD40. Meets my needs nicely!

Used on an Colorado pickup. Overall for the money a decent rack. Assembles/installs easily, gives the option to use clamps or drill bolts (we used the clamps). We used it to haul 14' 2x6's and 20ft rebar ( wrapped to the 2x6s). A bit top heavy (take wide turns and go slowly on turns) but that would be any rack, it handled the weight which was probably 4-5 hundred lbs no problem.
