I’m a bit in the middle when it comes to this bookshelf. The price was great and I needed a half size to fit between two others in a corner and I love the overall look and how well it holds up filled with books. I will agree with another reviewer who noted it’s not a true white, it’s ivory or eggshell or off white. Not a nice bright white like my other shelves. Yes it was easy to put together BUT the pieces that fit into the back to help stabilize did not fit and there was not way to screw them in without piercing the backing, which would show through the front. It’s lightweight without the books and is a bit wobbly. We have it for in between two others so that’s not too much of an issue. It’s not my favorite unit and I don’t understand why a half bookshelf is nearly twice the price of a normal one but whatever.
