We have had a regular ladder for our pool for a couple of years but the larger people in our family couldn’t use them, and the salt water rusted them out. These steps are great and plastic so no corrosion and they are very sturdy but you will need sand bags to hold them down.

This pool steps set is so much better than I imagined. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble amd doesn't float or move. The smaller footprint takes up very little room but os plenty wide for fuller sized adults. I like this set more than my prevoous 500 dollar set of wedding cake steps. You cant go wrong with this deal.

Easy to assemble . Makes getting in and out of our pool much easier than the wobbly ladder is comes with. We did not use sand in it , instead we used weights to weigh it down. Only thing we noticed is that the handles do come off easily when our kids are playing by the ladder.

The assembly was easy once you figure out what piece goes where. The instruction sheet lacks an identifying number or letter on each piece but since there were only a few pieces to the frame, the assembly starts to make sense. The ladder is heavy duty, the steps are wide and at an angle and there is no top platform which makes access easier for a person with arthritis. I did tie the ladder down to the pool rail with heavy duty zip ties for extra stability. Overall, a good buy.

Finally had a chance to put up my ladder, went together very easy. Sturdy and solid set of stairs. Very happy with them. The biggest thing is the wifey is happy with them. She feels save getting out of the pool. Happy wife happy life.
