I love the awning. However, it took me a long time to get it installed because the brackets that it comes with are meant for factory style racks and I have a rack system that I added to my vehicle. This would be perfect if there were other options for mounting brackets.

We purchased this awning for our tent trailer. The awning arrived with all of the parts needed to install it to a car roof rack. We had to improvise as we were attaching it to our trailer. Once we had it attached we set it up. It was a bit awkward to set up as it required a step stool but with two of us we completed set up. It was the perfect size for our tent trailer. We recently went on a camping trip and were able to test it out. The side rails really make a huge difference from a regular tent trailer bag awning as it keeps the awning tight whereas the old awning drooped on the sides. We didn’t experience any rain or wind so that will have to be tested in the spring on our next camping trip. There was a bit of concern about the hinges as they seemed weak but only time will tell.
