Waste of money
Hand Pump
Junk. Pump quit in first two weeks. Internals came apart and contaminated fuel. Then outside of actual tank cracked open and started leaking fuel. Terrible product.

read my review before you purchase! make sure this is really what you want
An absolute waste of money! First of all the pump handle leaks, second.. this pump works on gravity, you would think that with the pump hose coming out at the bottom of the machine, the gravity would push the fuel down the inside of the tank, out the hose and into whatever you're filling.... no matter how high the filler spout is of your tractor or car etc etc....
That is not correct, you literally have to have this entire machine higher in the air then whatever it is you're filling..
And believe me... if you think it's hard to lift up and keep steady a 5 gallon gas jug when you're trying to fill your tractor... it is almost impossible to lift up and keep steady a 16 gallon jug.. the only way to make this pump usable is to keep it on some kind of table or shelf that is 5 ft tall and then, and only then will it work pumping fuel into your lawn mower or vehicle!
also, because of where the hose is attached to the tank, it is impossible to get every last drop of fuel out of the tank once you have filled it!
another very odd feature of this machine is the filler hole is not on the top of the machine it is on the front of the machine so you have to lay it on its back to fill it and then stand it up more or less making it impossible to fill it to the top and, just making it harder to fill in general...
from the pictures I provided, you can see that the filler hole is on the front of the machine instead of on the top so you can't fill it to the very top and if you accidentally do not tighten it down all the way, it will leak out and spill everywhere and if you feel it too high, the carb is connected to the gas lid so it will leak down the front.. and you can see where the gas hose connects at the bottom of the machine, because of its position, it is impossible to get all of the fuel out of the tank.. pretty much what I have is a 16 gallon Vevor fuel pumping system paperweight.. I thought that I was going to use it all the time, I thought that it was going to be so much more convenient for me to go to the store with my five gallon jugs and bring them home and fill up my huge 16 gallon tank and use that great pumping system to fuel up my lawn mower and my chainsaws and weed wackers and rototillers and all my other gas powered machines.. but this 16 gallon fuel pumping storage system sits here empty collecting dust in my garage because of its awkwardness! it's just so much easier to use a 5 gallon jug

Poor Quality Components
Hand Pump
In less than 12 months, the pump stop working, the fitting on the lower hose started leaking and the wheels popped off the back of the caddy. It's a great design ruined by inferior parts. Vevor products are normally great quality. Someone really dropped the ball on this one.

Leaks at the brass fitting on the bottom
I fought this a while ago and now it's starting to leak all over my garage through the brass fitting at the bottom which it should not. I am very concerned at the quality of the manufacturer.

Leaks
Hand Pump
Fuel tank is very nice but several of the connections leak no matter how tight you make them. The unit I have leaks from the very bottom connection and also the crank hose connection.

This Review is being written more than a year after I purchased this to fill Kerosene into a large heater I have at my business. This could easily be 5 stars except for the poor quality hose clips that come with it. These couldn't be tightened enough to prevent liquid seeping out so I replaced these with much better quality ones from my local hardware store. The other issue with this container is the shut off valve where the hose attaches at the bottom. This is in a very awkward place If you needed to prevent the contents from filling into the hose like I do when storing Kerosene.
Otherwise the tank and the hand pump are excellent and I would highly reccommend. Be careful though as this is very heavy when filled. The tank itself is very robust and the hand pump works great for my needs.

Hand Pump
Tank is still new to me, but it does operate like it should. I did think that the hose clamps were on the cheap side. The strip out when i crank them down tight. I had to buy some good automotive store hose clams to replace the ones that came with the tank. One thing that takes some getting use to is having to bend over to operate the crank. This makes it hard to keep an eye on the fuel level and amount going in the tank your filling. The grounding strap (which i didn't know came with it by the way) gets in the way when cranking it. The hose has some weird back pressure on it so it is impossible to drain it off when done, but I just put it in a bucket to make sure it don't make a mess. The bottom outlet of tank has an on/off valve which is nice but its inset and hard from me to get my fingers inside the indention to rotate it. I would like to see them put the battery operated pump on it that auto stops, but I know that would raise the price. Also I didn't want to keep batteries laying around at the farm. The crank eliminates that problem.
