Customer Reviews for VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack, 38.1-101.6 cm Adjustable Depth, Free Standing or Wall Mount Network Server Rack, 4 Post AV Rack with Casters, Holds All Your Networking IT Equipment AV Gear Router Modem

Dollar for dollar, you won' find a better deal on a rack that adjusts to long (real!) servers! I keep buying Vevor...the more I browse, the more I buy lol

Overall, the rack is great and give it 5 stars for the price. The installation, however, is 2 stars. You first have to use the PDF version of the manual to even figure out what the steps are because the printed manual is of very low quality. While you will eventually figure it out, it is not evident right away and takes some time to determine the proper orientation. There's definitely no way you can use a hand driver to tighten the screws since it is not predrilled/threaded. You may not need an impact wrench depending depending on what type of electric drill you have. The screw heads are like butter and get stripped pretty easy so be careful.

As good as it gets, got a bit bent in shipping but still fits in mostly correct.

This is working nicely for an old Dell server I have. I did not mount the server INSIDE the rack, because I don't have the original rails at this time, but I placed the server on TOP of it, and used the bottom/inside for a UPS, switch and power cables, and it's working great. Very sturdy rack, good price.

Das Gerät macht gesamt einen positiven Eindruck weil: -Sauber verarbeitet -Flexibele Einteilung der EH -Einfacher Zusammenbau -Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis

The VEVOR 9U Open Frame Server Rack is an excellent solution for anyone looking to organize a growing collection of networking gear and smart home hubs without breaking the bank. One of the most compelling reasons to choose this VEVOR model is the price point. It is significantly more affordable than identical units found on major big-box online retailers. Despite the lower cost, it doesn't compromise on the utility provided by more expensive brands, making it a high-value choice for a home lab or utility closet. The assembly process is straightforward and manageable. The rack features an **adjustable depth (23" to 40")**, which provides great flexibility depending on whether you are mounting shallow switches or deeper server chassis. The inclusion of casters makes it easy to move for maintenance, though it also supports wall-mounting for a more permanent, elevated installation. For users managing multiple smart home bridges, processors, and mesh points, this 9U rack is a game-changer. It effectively: Reduces Footprint my Smart Home footprint! Consolidates scattered devices into a single, vertical stack. The open-frame design ensures that equipment stays cool compared to enclosed cabinets. It allows for much cleaner cable routing and easier access to the back of devices. The VEVOR 9U Open Frame Server Rack does exactly what it promises. It is a sturdy, budget-friendly, and highly functional piece of equipment that drastically cleans up hardware clutter. For those looking to transition from a messy shelf to a professional-looking setup, this is a top-tier recommendation.

Good and sturdy rack. easy to assemble but More mounting screws/nuts could be included.

This rack is absolutely fine, there are many types with different depths. For us this was perfect with its 58cm depth. If you want an open rack like we did to get good access, we recommend this reasonable rack. We are going to build it on our channel: Recommended!
