The design is stylish. Love the canopy. However it's paper thin aluminum. Would not buy if I knew just how thin the aluminum is. One good wind would probably fold it like a drink can.

Although reasonable price and looks nice with the additional decorative features, it was still a big purchase for us brought for a special family occasion, but the after sale service has been so poor we have given up trying now to resolve our issue. We were missing some of the decorative parts, sent emails, part numbers, photos, many times to Vevor but just keep getting emails back saying we haven't replied. Even the on line chat got us nowhere. There is no phone number to actually call and speak to someone - of course there isn't. So really disappointed in the Company. It's a poor way to treat your customers, but what's the point of continuing trying to get our missing parts.

It is terrible in any type of rain. All those holes drip all over underneath leaving outdoor furniture a mess. I bought 2, one for us and one for our adult children. I told them not to bother setting it up. It is worse than having nothing out there.

Upon opening and inspecting the components I noticed that the packing caused minor damage (dents in the pillars). Once the parts were laid out there were missing stickers that identify the parts and due to the similarity of the parts it was hard to identify. Moving to the instructions was a nightmare, Very simply pictorials difficult to interrupt. I consider myself very mechanically inclined and I had to disassembly the pergola three times because the instruction were not clear enough. Last but not least, There is a design flaw in the top cover that goes over the shade. There are no holes to drain the rain water off of it. I added 4 gromets to allow drainage otherwise the water pools up and stretch's the material. Finally, it looks good and the wife is very happy with it.

Sorry I am able to comment on this item as I purchased it at half price. Vevor failed to to complete my order stating that they had lost my order in the system (after two weeks of looking) but they would not send out a replacement and never stated why? Then just put the money back on my card, even after I asked them to honour my order.

Solid unit no instructions.. on line instructions are garbage and leave a allot out and you have to disassemble to fix .. took 4 days to put together
