This works well in 1.0 and 1.2 mm steel That is its limit. Good quality fir inexpensive tool.

Didn’t operate out of the box. Cleaned a few small burs and a small amount of grease later and it hasn’t had any issues since. Swapping dies can be a bit of a pain, and disrupts workflow. But size, cost, and construction are better than I anticipated. This is a beginner tool for a serious DIYer and enthusiast.

For the small jobs I need it for it works just fine, It does need to be mounted to a solid base, I bolted it through the top of my metal table. If I was using it all the time having two would be nice to avoid switching the jaws between operations but they are easy to change with no tools required.

Product looks great and can't wait to use it. Delivery was very quick and price was great. Very pleased with this product. Wanted one but was discouraged by the prices until I found this. Ordered on a Monday and received on a Wednesday. Can't believe how quick it was to deliver. Very pleased.

i've tried the shrinker jaws only. easy to use a straight scrap was pretty quickly stretched and curved these were my first try with this type of tool the price got me and the quality surprised me

Bought this, not to bend metal for car body repairs, but to curve 25mm L steel lengths to about 1.2 metres radius to carry track for a garden railway. Took a bit of time to figure out how to do it accurately but got there in the end. The tool quality is very good and it is quite quick to change from stretching to shrinking, something you have to do regularly to tweak the results. You can buy a pair of these so as not to have to do this but I couldn't justify the extra cost.
