Purchased in the Spring of 2024 for a Ford Expedition project. Really was overkill, but better to be safe. It has worked out well for two engine projects, so far. The crane is only a one ton from HF. The crane is set up Inside my barn near the entrance. No issues with rust on the chains. Guess my only complaint is that my hands still come away black. Better that than brown, I guess. The weight keeps everything in place. The chain hung up once, but no big deal. The price hasn't changed much. I paid $94.

so far so good works really well. It was a good price and it has a roller in the chain hook, as well as the 360° swivel. Does a really good job at lifting up items you need in a smooth manner.. this hoist has the roller guide in the high hook that you would connect things to to lift up a lot of them don’t have this particular feature and we really like this feature. It makes a smooth and slow lift when trying to place things down.. 1000 to 1500 pounds were lifting no problems works really well. Some people say that it’s a little oily when you get it we were glad it was a little oily that keeps it from rusting and well lubricated, and sometimes when shipping it overseas, it keeps it from rusting for the long journey when it’s flying in or being shipped by water. We would recommend this product. It’s a good product , No complaints works really well. If something changes will update the review.

So I've had this Hoist for a minute and am finally able to give a long term review. First, it's by far the best value on the market, so buying it was a no-brainer. This thing is a real work horse. I've used this thing far more than I ever thought I would. One of those things that you didn't realize you needed so bad until you bought it. Sooooo much easier than using that come-a-long. It really is a snap to use. My only disappointment is that the chains rusted and rusted badly and very quick. We work hard so we worked it hard so I guess the salty sweat was to much for it which is a shame. We've started using gloves to avoid some of the rust but it still gets on the gloves and our shirts. That's the only drawback but kind of an aggravating one. Will post another review on down the line when we've had it longer.

Used this hoist once to remove my 5th wheel hitch from truck worked perfectly my mistake on buying 20 foot chain so I reordered the 10 foot model not used yet

Good price, fast shipping, good product

Have used this about 2 months now, has been flawless. Lifts and lowers nicely. Recently built a root rake for a CAT D6. Used this on moving the main tooth beam as well as holding the blade mount uprights.

Nice quality and sturdy built hoist. Lifts load without any issue. Welded steel chains are well lubed from factory.

The pull chain doesn’t fit the drive sprocket very well which causes the pull chain to jamb between the housing and the drive sprocket. You have to go really slow with the pull chain which causes wasted time.
