I have a pick up, workshop trailer, small cabin and a boat. So, having a self contained 8 kW unit that I can take with me and use wherever needed seemed an excellent idea. The unit arrived promptly but only worked for around two weeks on my boat. With the help of the support the issue found was the mother board inside the heating unit. Replaced free of charge within a few weeks, the unit now works perfectly. While it was taken to bits, I replaced the fuel line with heavier duty rubber, beefed up the hose clamps, supply wiring, insulation, pump placement and tank support plus a few screws for the cover that were missing from the beginning. Summa summarum, for the price point, and if you're willing to tinker a bit, it's a great mobile self contained unit. In the process of determining the issue, I measured the electrical components: starting up can draw up to 40 A for a few seconds. If your supply is too weak, the unit will give an error 2, ie under voltage. Running on H3 level draws around 20 A, on H1 level around 10 A. So, make sure you use a good gauge wiring and proper connection to your battery. On a 60 Ah deep cycle battery, the autonomy is around 5 h on H1 level, given the cold here in the Canadian Prairies... User friendliness is great, once you throw out the useless manual and find your way through the menu of the controller. Design wise, I would love to see a bigger distance between fuel intake and exhaust. The exhaust should in my opinion be routed to the side with a factory fitted 90 degree elbow and straight extension to the unit's side, where a longer flex hose can be attached depending on your use. My work around is extending the feet, cutting through the side and fitting a one inch copper pipe custom made. The exhaust obviously gets hot, so the unit as is cannot be placed on any combustible surface or placed on the ground the way it is factory set up, hence defeating the purpose of being a mobile unit that can be placed anywhere without being modified, just food for thought...

I ordered this unit specifically for my 19 ft sailing boat and it works like a dream for about two months by now. For the price point, there is nothing to criticize. From a marine engineering point of view, I modified and extended the exhaust specific to my boat, replaced the fuel line with heavier duty rubber fuel line, and beefed up the supply wiring. Design wise, my main point is the close proximity of the fuel intake to the exhaust. The latter I would love to see factory fitted with a removable 90 degree elbow and a longer flex hose. Summa summarum, if you're handy and willing to adapt the unit to your needs, it's a good buy.

Off grid
Run it for first time last night and it worked great other than the noisy fuel system. Very annoying .

Heater works better than expected. Not as loud as I had expected but does make a steady fan ticking sound. More heat then expected heats and has cool down cycles which I presume will extend life of it. The muffler it came with was useless broke didn’t work well. I purchased a higher quality one and it’s very quiet outside. Will see how long it lasts.

I received my heater in ample time, it was in perfect condition, packaged very well. I haven't tried it yet, as I am planning to use it for my camp. I looks amazingly well built and easy to setup. It looks extremely easy to use with very simple instructions. I can't complain about the price, very reasonable for the quality of the heater. Thank you

Works well. Controls are a bit confusing and the remote seems a bit light weight, but once it's up and running it heats like a champ

Seems to be a good little unit. Is keeping my 8 x 12 motorcycle garage comfortably warm with quite low fuel consumption. My only real beef is that the instructions for programing the controller are garbage. You need to speak pidgen english and use a magnifying glass to make sense of them !
