Small an essential item, Useful in every field!

The wheel works well but kinda low. I'm 5'9" and my wife is 5'6" and we both found it too low sitting at a height of 10 inches off the floor to be at the right height with the wheel. If I was to purchase again I would buy the one with the separate foot pedal. I had to raise this up about 6 inches to work at a comfortable height sitting on a 5 gallon bucket making it very awkward to be able to use the foot pedal elevated off the floor. The lever works fine but sometimes the foot pedal is helpful when trimming. It doesn't look like there is an easy way to convert to a separate foot pedal. This may not be an issue for you and it is a great wheel for the money.

Works well is just a bit messy as it is so small and no place for warer and spatters to go. Does as it states. And is of good quality.

I like this little wheel. The motor is strong enough and it's very easy to operate. It's a bit awkward to move, as three edges are just the edge of the sheet metal body and a bit sharp. It's also pretty short, so you'll want a couple of cinder blocks to set it up on if you want to throw seated on a stool or chair. It's a smaller wheel, so you probably won't be able to throw more than ~3 pounds at a time, but that suits me. It also doesn't accept bats. If you want to make/use bats, you'll either have to drill holes and use pins, or maybe try using velcro. It's been nice to have for me to practice the skills I'm learning in class, and to test out different techniques, even left-handed ones.

An excellent buy for the price, works perfectly and has good torque, arrived earlier than expected too. Definitely a good purchase for a first pottery wheel.

As a starter wheel very good, needs to be completely level the foot pedal is great. Comes with an adaptor for the plug to be used in U.K.

It is compact and sturdy. It_ not as heavy as I had imagined, which it good for ease of movement. I have only had it in my possession long enough to turn it on, but it seems to be it good working order and easy to use.

Not as much power as an industrial wheel, once restance is applied it does slow down, and you probably can't throw with over 10-15 pounds of clay. But it gets the job done, great for using at home while studios are closed. It is very low too low for me so I put it on some bricks...but yeah for the price you can't go wrong

I honestly just opened it last night. Great quality, very quiet. Have no idea what I'm doing but I feel like this is a great piece and I'm gonna spend many hours enjoying it... Thanks

My name is Maureen Mende. This wheel is great for ceramics artists that want to have their own potters wheel but do not buy one due to the cost. This wheel was inexpensive and works just fine for wheel throwing at home. When I set it up it did not work at first but my husband was able to determine the cause which was the belt was not in place. He was able to put it back on and it worked fine after that. The plastic bowl and legs are much thinner than other potters wheels that I have used in my Ceramics classes at the Junior College. The legs on the wheel were also too short for me to position my legs and my body correctly in front of the wheel so my husband built a wood platform to put under it to raise it up a few inches. He also put small wood around each leg to brace it and ensure it would not move when in use. These were easy solutions to the problems I encountered out of the box. I am using it daily and love it so I highly recommend it for ceramic artists who want a wheel but don't want to spend $1000.00 or more to buy one.
