I was a bit worried when I read the reviews but I think this is better when using more paper rather than only a few sheets, I cut 200 sheets of satin pearl paper early cutting my cut times from a few hours to less than one hour to cut over 1000 cards, a solid heavy weight machine does not move while being used.

I didn't expect too much due to the price, but figured out that it had most of what was needed from the more expensive ones.
So, I jumped in and bought the cheaper one and to my amazement does a great job, love it. However, it does need to be set-up properly, that is, the head paper stopper needs to be squared up with the guillotine blade, don't just trust the printed measurement markings. Ye good tool.

easy to use, we cut a lot of repeat sizes so using a ply template of the size required is a quick way to set the cut size acurately, easily cuts through dozens of sheets at a time, solid and well built, very pleased, great price too!

Had my eye on this cutter for some time as it was recommended through a Youtube channel. Arrived swiftly, packaged great and quick and easy set-up. This works great, easy to use, very accurate. Just be careful... I apparently brushed my finger across the blade on accident, look down and my fingernail was cut off!! Watch your fingers!!

I was a bit on the fence about ordering this but over all very pleased! I'm just cutting 5-10 sheets of 160gsm paper at a time. So it cuts very accurately. You would loose accuracy the more paper you put in up to the maximum as you would stay getting smear not sheer.It's very easy to use and the paper clamp works well. Only downside foe me is it's difficult to see the exactly line where you are cutting as it's not marked. It mostly relays on you lining up the paper with the lines of on the base, not a cutting line.Despite that it's a huge step up in cutting for me. (I make flashcards for a living) one day I might need to invest in a bigger one but right now this is a great introductory machine.P.s. It weighs a flipping tonne!
