My kit comes with a lint type cloth where abouts does it fit when assembling the kit

This flannel is what we call a filter cloth. It is used when the first working pan is placed at the bottom of the pan as a filter cloth to prevent the dirt from falling into the water collection pan below. After this use, the filter cloth will not be used in the future.
