Does this unit charge my batteries. I saw a review saying that they use a smart timer. Does the unit not have timer control as to when to start charging.

Can I run 4x400w solar panels producing 149v max through your inverter to charge 48v Lithium Ion Batteries? If the batteries are fully charged will the solar power go back to the grid? Can the solar carry on being used if grid has failed if an isolator is fitted between the inverter and grid?

This machine is off-grid, the solar energy can only go to the battery and the load, not to the grid.
