I have just installed this as per the manual, the bed doesn’t seem to stay down, it needs some additional weight maybe an extra 5kg. Is there anyway the gas struts might be faulty?

There is no problem with the air pressure pillar, but the weight of the mattress and bed frame needs to reach 61-64kgs
