Can this kit be used to fit the bed in a vertical position? If not what stops it from being able to as all parts appear to match with the vertical kit?
It cannot be used to fit the bed in a vertical position. The force of the gas spring for horizontal side turning is 550N, while the force of the gas spring for vertical front turning is 900N. There is too much difference in force, so it is not feasible.
