Please could you clarify the distance between the posts for 3 step model LTFS - 1.4MLZ? The spec quotes 108.5 cm but the diagram with dimensions gives 128.5cm. Many thanks

Yes, it definitely has to be permanently attached at the bottom of the posts. Mine is on concrete steps. It works great and is very attractive.
