Hello, is the locking mechanism active all of the time? Ie. Do you have to manually push the locking mechanism every time you open or close the drawer? I do not want a locking mechanism. I just want to open and close the drawer.

Hello, the slide rail is only locked when it is fully closed or fully opened. Locking can prevent the slide rail (drawer) from sliding out or closing automatically, which has good safety.
